“Sacrifices to the Cult of Free Market” Share holders make a million Extorted workers denied rights Existence bound To company time -Daily market worth CEO receives a bonus Exploited child makes a dime So long as you get Your products on time -First World First Complacent Hands Uncaringly invest Fueling the systems That leave countless lives bereft -Won’t be disbursed As the disassociates Further disconnect And the malcontents lulled By talk of a better death - It’s only getting worse Rejecting empathy Unfazed by human plight Indoctrinated from the womb Taught the holy dollars might -Do these pigs still bleed?

White Lies Etched by Pale Hands “ Your history runeth over With shame and guilt The destiny you manifested Reeks of blood spilt See now the wounds Redlined ghettos left to wilt The rusted cages The Monuments greed has built The hands of law Once clenched the whips We long to see them severed Off at the wrist Superiority Judged by the scales they set The gold-standards of greed Polishing the shackles of debt Centuries of discrimination Packing poor into squalid holes Confined and categorized For ease of control Following the words Of tyrant prophets Racial bias be their muse All whilst reaping Record profits From continual abuse The hands that scribe History Lies etched in stone as fact Should tremble violently In fear of the day That the people should unite The hands that scribe History Should fear our day
3.
Inherited Hatred/ Traditions of Atrocity” These twisted branches Matured from blood soaked roots And bore a yield Of most bitter fruit You can hear them marching Torchlit from miles away Armed with talks of birthrights And their forefathers’ slurs The sins of the father Inherited by the son The white robes of old are exchanged For a badge and a gun The world watches You play victim across the stage A coward in royal blue While another’s in their grave Coward in royal blue Do you make your father proud? Did you uphold his legacy? Traditions of Atrocity.
4.
Salting the Fields Sown by Strife” They work to bury The truth from the sun Though not in remorse Of the things they have done Architects of deceit Know to hide hands slight To maintain the footholds For those rich male and white They’ve sown hateful seeds Bigotry steers their plows The wounds of their tilling Must be mended now If we refuse To face issues of race We can never move forward From past mistakes Can’t proper pay respects To monuments on display While refusing to acknowledge Your feet tread on graves We’ll see to the end Of your beloved reich And salt the fields Sown by its strife While you’ve mourned The carcass of hope We’ve fashioned weapons bones And taken aim at the throat Exterminate one fascist And another takes its place Crush their ideologies And see their end one day
5.
The Resounding Din of Breaking Chains” Lo! Welcome to the slog Marching the razors edge Against a growing fog Lo! We’ll uphold the fight Flesh and bone a bastion Fortified for human rights Though! We face rigid stone Unified like rising tides To nothing they’ll erode Fight! Mind body and soul Stay unrelenting And we will break their hold Every passive minute that fades away With it a hope for change evaporates To stand aside morose and contrite Will not the spark of dissent ignite Bring about the day all are truly free None bearing the shackles of oppressors decree Dawn the red and black as heraldry Bring the Goliath to it’s knees How long can you avert your eyes For the sake of comfort Sitting fat on complacency Ignoring the pain of others Fire does not only destroy But breathes life to forge anew So from the ashes of beaten soil A brighter future might bloom
6.
Delusion Hymns in the Key of Granduer” Hid behind shields Of anonymity Scrawling legislature To maintain disparity Zealous advocates Of homogeneity Thinly disguised views Of white supremacy Tumors taken root No attempts have made it wane It must be removed And with it the source of pain A chronic sickness A festering blight Systemic chains Held by the right Pushing bills Mandating indoctrination To justify their acts Of mass incarceration It’s only getting worse 200 year old curse History repeats itself Before those who refuse to see Oppressive policy Outdated ideology Laws never meant To keep the peace It’s only getting worse
